CCA Books features'sound'in a new display, focusing on substantials consisted of 4 volumes with CD.
CCA Kitakyushu has organized concerts and sound workshop with sound artists since 2001, and substantials brings together the lecture/workshop records by 20 sound artists including Oren Ambarchi, Keiji Haino, Jim O'Rourke, and Florian Hecker, and Keith Rowe.
In order to spotlight not only on sound but also on the visual elements, as the title quoted from David Bowie indicates the video/sound documentation from CCA archive and related publicaitons, CD and LP are also presented.
